The material was successfully applied for the removal of methylene blue from aqueous solutions, achieving an adsorption capacity of <strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"725\">23.53 mg\u00b7g\u207b\u00b9<\/strong> under optimal conditions. The adsorption process was best described by the <strong data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"844\">Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models<\/strong> and followed a <strong data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"897\">pseudo-second-order kinetic model<\/strong>.
