The complete report remains confidential pending publication; experimental profiles, sample identities and detailed findings are withheld.<\/strong><\/p><p>Deliverable D5.2, <em>Report of the preliminary characterization of bioactive molecules\/products<\/em>, addresses an important step in PHYBIOMED Work Package 5: understanding biomass composition to guide the assessment of potential valorisation routes.<\/p><p>The public summary describes a complementary analytical framework combining Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and biochemical reference measurements.<\/p><p>These approaches can help organise compositional information and guide further investigation. The report explains why spectral patterns, biochemical composition and biological activity represent distinct levels of evidence.
